Have you ever dated a girl that was “above” you in every way?

I am a coach at a gym. I like a girl who is tall, super beautiful and a business executive at one of the worlds largest companies. She’s in her late 20s and I’m in my early 40s. She likes me too. Is something wrong with her?

Yeah, the love of my life was "above" me in most ways. Super-kind and sweet, taller than me by 4.5 inches at 6'3½", was way more attractive looking than me, made more money than me as a banker with 5 years experience, had her own place while I didn't at the time, and was one of the kindest people I ever met. While I still had intelligence and a stronger sense of humor than her, I felt like she was "better" than me at most things, even though she NEVER felt that way in return.

The ten-year anniversary of her passing away is coming up on November 3rd, and I honestly felt like had we made it to the wedding, things would've taken a turn for the worse, as I *still* don't think I was worthy enough for Kaitlyn, even ten years later. We likely would've had a bitter divorce as her interest in me wore off over time, so deep inside, I'm almost glad we never got married, as we could be spared all the bad parts from the potential future timeline.
