My boyfriend forgot to sign me as a plus one for the wedding we got invited for a month ago… Read details please…Did I overreact?

So he showed me an invitation for his colleague’s wedding and I said I would go… Apparently he did not confirm my seat and I had a feeling he didn’t want me to go but when I reminded him he said okay I will call now ( 2 days before the wedding ) we got into an argument and he tried feeding me some weird story how maybe he doesn’t feel comfy becos his colleagues tend to be disrespectful when drunk. I told him I don’t buy that and I said I had a feeling he simply wants to go alone for God knows what reasons… Was I right to react like that? I kinda find it extremely disrespectful.

I really don’t. We are short time together and we did have some situations that were sticky. He has been single for such a long time so I let go of some things thinking he needs time to adjust but at the end of the day people always have plus one one weddings unless they are single or wanna act single… No?

I dont know him so I can't speak for him I personally have been lazy and forgot to tell people I'm bringing my girl to a even although I just expect people to understand if I come I would bring her unless stated what I will say tho is that if u don't trust him why are u even in this equation as its essentially saying I think u will cheat just not caught u yet
