I wasn't invited to my boyfriend's surprise party :/?

I've been together with my boyfriend about 5 months. His friends, colleagues and family threw him a surprise party, and nobody invited me? I know his family pretty well already. I learned about it afterwards, when he told me about it. I'm really confused/hurt - what does this mean?

If his family know you two are dating, in my opinion it was really mean of them not to invite you. You must talk about it with your boyfriend and figure out how he feels about it, if he's alright with it or not, and if he finds it normal.
It could be that his family only invites girlfriends and boyfriends over as soon as things get serious... but if that isn't the case, they probably don't like you for some reason (or at least the person who was in charge of organizing things). Could they just have forgotten about you though? Since it's not been that long since you too are dating... but it's hard to tell, you must talk to him or them about it.

yearh- i joined them on family vacation and everything. Things were great? My boyfriend hasn't expressed his feelings about it claerly - and i feel bad about pressing it since he didn't arrange his own surpriseparty. But still - im thinking he must not be very serious about me, when im not around? :/

This is really hard to figure out... are you closer with someone from his family with whom you could talk about it? This might have a good explanation but I can't think of one...

sucks big time! He hasn't been very clear on it, only said that he could understand why Id be hurt - and he didn't know why I wasn't invited. I dont feel like im taken very seriously
