a girl in the university gym kept on smiling at me friendly. but she kept doing it which made it seem like she wanted to talk.
So I walked upto her when the gym was quiet and spoke to her, she was kinda shy but was nice. So I asked if she had a boyfriend and if she wanna come to a party and got her Instagram.
i made general chit chat two days later on insta complementing her holiday photo but after a few messages. we stopped talking and she stopped replying because it seemed like she was standoffish. So I moved on and didn’t bother invite her to any party’s etc.
In the gym we pretend each other don’t exist BUT after few weeks this started happening.
She see me in the gym. I pretend she don’t exist and she try to smile but look away awkwardly. Then I notice whenever I see her few weeks after on my way to class she keep staring and/or smiling to herself when she sees me. But then if I spot her staring she look away really fast and smile to herself.
Then another time I was in her flat and she poked me in the back. I didn’t know it was her flat I just got invited to a party and it turned out that it was her flat and she saw me in her kitchen which was a surprise. But when I looked around because I didn’t know it was her she didn’t even saw hi.
She keeps doing this like looking and then look away quick and smile to herself. Then she does that in her flat so it’s pretty confusing for me not sure if she shy.
I only approached her because she kept looking at me all the time and smiling, then she was kinda nervous when we first spoke. I can’t tell if she’s really shy and likes me , or thinking I’m a douche and not interested. Or wasn’t sure at first but is now really shy and does like me I suppose a girl may know?
