Girls, Why does she act this way , does she like me or hate me. Is she nervous?

seen a cute looking girl at university, so I would check her out but she when she walks past she would look to the ground. So I stopped it.

But then when I'm working on group task on another table in library she would listen in , sonetimes sge would look at me with cimpudence and others quite nervously. For example she would look at me then if I look back she nervously trys to smile then darts her eyes away and then back again. I thought nothing of it. Until it continued.. staring from a distance. Looking at me when I'm looking for books. Before leaving looking me up and down like she was given me the ok?

But one time I was on my laptop and directly in front of me was the printer. And this is what made me think. in order for her to see me when waiting at the printer she would have to turn completely around. she was wearing more make up etc etc and looked pretty. She knew I was there but she was acting nervous and didn't know how to stand she kept switching positions them tried and then stopped and tried to sneak a glance and looked away nervously and got embarrassed 5 minutes later she saw me talking to a girl and looked at me with confidence again. and got jelous and sad. The time after she completely avoided looking.

2 weeks later I approached her, she was nice, abit quiet, couldn't make eye contact , laughed at my jokes but kept looking at me up and down out the corner of her eyes. So I left her alone. She seemed happier after I approached because normally she's reserved.

So approached a week after , she seemed nervous like twirling her hair etc. So I wanted to make her comfortable. I ask her questions about herself and she made short eye contact. She laughed at things I done that aren't funny.
Again later in that day she seen me in the class opposite I looked at her few times and she noticed me and kept looking and again talking to her friends secretely?

Time after i went to talk to her and her friends, she couldn't make eye contact. Was quiet again. I was abit nervous. I said she looks nice. And I then said I have to go. And got my stuff said good luck and bye to her friends. A soon as I left she started talking about me and I looked and she stared. Everytime I'm around she just looks.
I'm confused by it all.. I'm unsure if she's shy, nervous. Hates me. Why dies she did these things..

She likes you but is very nervous around you. Seems like she has a low self esteem. So next time you see her I think you should complement her. I also suggest you should talk to her privately just the two of you and tell her that you like her and ask her why she always gets nervous and you should tell her to relax and be herself around you and ask her out nicely to things she would like to do that way you too can feel more comfortable together.

I sat beside her and sge just looked at her friend. I tried to compliment her but was nervous and slurred my Words abit so I complimented her a few times after. It's confusing from a distance she looks. But she also doesn't ask me any questions. Then a soon as I walked off she's hyper, her friends crowding around and sges staring. So I think what the heck and look at her and she just staring back at me etc.

Ask her out on coffee or something- just as friends though. I feel that she might like you, as whenever i talk to someone i find cute i find it impossible to maintain eye contact (i'm extremely shy/borderline socially awkward when i first meet someone). Just ask her to hang out and see where things go!

Haha thank you, I want to ask her out on a date. But here's the deal. Before I approached her interest semed pretty clear. However i only see her weekly. but one time she would look at me nervously because Sometimes eye her up and she would seem abit nervous like she trys to smile but fails.

Then I stop and im looking for a book i look around and she's looking at me with confidence. so thats wasn't enough for me to approach her because she may be thinking im looking so she looks. But then she saw girls walking upto me and she was staring. then I was in the library again she stood up to put her coat on and gave me "the look" lol.

Then in the canteen im minding my own business and she's whispering to her friends and they all looking. so the week after. 4 weeks of looking. I was on my laptop and 5 metres in front of me was this printer. She knew I was there. all of a sudden she's wearing more make up, matching eye shadow with her jacket etc etc. but she didn't know how to stand continueed

Then she kept swaying her hips.. like she was self-concious. In order for her to look at me she would have to turn conmpletely around. Next thing I know she looks around at me after the standing issues. Notices that I saw it all and she darted her eyes back to the printer then kept looking between me and the printer like she didn’t know to look or not but she only sees me weekly so it seemed she was trying to get my attention right?… then 5 minutes later I get up and talk to another chick because she disappeared.. she walked back around to walk out. And caught me and looked shocked. Then I walked back to my table and saw her outside walking off. whispering to her phone, sulking and looking upset and maybe embarrassed.

It was my plan to approach the week after but it was before Christmas and everything was messed up but she completely avoided looking at me? so what changed.. did it bother her seeing me talk to another girl?

So after Christmas 2 weeks later I saw her and approached her. I ws nervous but. She was nice not very talkative. She wished me happy birthday but wouldn’t make eye contact.. her friend was nice. Then I followed into the university. And spoke to her class friends. made a few jokes and she laughed but again quiet and was looking at me out the corner of her eyes up and down.

So I just walked off.. and she seemed loud and happy which I never seen before. Normally everyone jokes in her group and she only one not laughing.
So later in the day she was in canteen. I walked in to speak to a friend and she kept talking to her friends and staring at me when I had my back to them.

2nd time I approached, she was nice.. made a bit of eye contact.. still kept laughing at my lame joke or if I pick her rubbish up to see what she eating she just giggles. So I the whole time she twirling her hair. Then later in the day I was in the class opposite and she saw me looking she she kept sneaking glances

like 15 times. Her tutor turned the light off and she was talking to her friends about me again. I assumed that if she's shy and nervous each time she will become comfortable.

But 3rd time She sees me walk in and looks before class. Then I approach at lunch, this time I get my protein drink , get a chair and sit beside her facing her. She kept looking at her friend (the one she always talks to me about). I asked how she is and she wouldn’t look at me when I face her. So I asked her who she goes gym with to see if she hints she not interested and says she has a boyfriend. Then I nervously compliment her and slur my words and say she looks nice and her friends looked at me and back down to there phones. So I complimented her a few more times to settle the embarrassment. Then I say I have to go and get my stuff , I say bye to her friends and good luck to her..

But It confuses me why she didn’t look at me when I sat facing her, or she never really asks me questions. So I walked off like what the heck. The minute I walk of she's energetic, talking about me, her friends crowding around.. she stares at me.. im waiting at the elevator like what the heck. So I look at her watching her doing it all and she stares no problem. Later in the day she would check to see were I am in the library and that was it. But Im unsure if she's nervous and shy, why doesn’t she ask questions and make eye contact. And why she react like that?

Sorry for multiple replies but I thought i would share complete story.. I as you can see before I approach it was clear to me.. maybe you will understand why she does those things but Im like what the heck lol

No , I dont have her on social media. I asked how many followers sge had on instagram but she just said she doesn't use it much even though she was on it when I said it.. that's why I'm confused there's a lot if signs to say sge is interested but some which says she isn't.

Hmm seems weird. I'd say just leave it for a bit. dont push yourself too hard if she isn't gonna even bother putting in some efforts

Unless she feels vulnerable and doesn't know how to react or talk to me.. she might not have a lot if experience in dealing with guys (who actually approach).. but knows how to grab guys attention and show you want them to.. i can say probably 9\10 guys don't approach unless they are drunk or have friends in common.. she is introverted, doesn't party, goes to gym with nobody. And the signs before I approached show she's self-concious.. I guess I just have to be patient..

Seems like you're the one thats more outgoing. She likes you but is shy thats why she looks away and looks down sometimes. She laughs at your jokes a lot cause she she's trying to be friendly but over does it without realising it. Give her a chance and see if she keeps looking and smiling and make a move. If it doesn't work out there are a lot of cute and nice girls out there.

I know , I don't understand why sge shows all the signs of interest but doesn't ask me any questions? Doesn't look at me.. but then from a distance she does or always talks to her friends about me

Maybe she's more confident when she's around her friends but when she's around you she doesn't know exactly how to act. Good luck!

Personally, when I see someone cute I look at the ground too... but if she is looking at you ever and you catch her often, she wanted you to see because she doesn’t know how else to hint it to you :)

What about the thirdelay time of approach I sit next to her.. and face her. I noticed she never asks me questions. She was just looking at her friend. I tried to compliment her but slurred my words and her friends notuced. So I complimented a few times because I wanted to let her know i like her and don't like another girl. But she just doesn't look or say anything much.

So I was look OK I have to go.. she didn't say anything I only see her once a week.. and 5 minutes later I say bye to her again and her friends.. I wished her good luck. Then i walked off and she's all of a sudden talking with energy. Staring at me and her friend laughs. I waiting at elevator like what the heck and I look at her and she just stares at me.

I don't get it does she like me or not I mean she doesn't give hints of fake boyfriend or anything she just keeps doing that

Maaayyyyybbbeee, or could be she was laughing because her friend likes you and you slurred, kind of like girl teasing and saying “heeeyyy, he likes you too, look how nervous he was.” That is actually a thing.

I doubt she thinks I like get friend too. This is what I mean it's confusing she akways dies it though. Lie before I even approach and she got jelous I caught her whispering to her friend in canteen.
