No I think a relationship works better if the woman wants the guy more because a man will be happy if his woman treats him well eve if she's maybe not the most optimal partner he could have gotten if he kept trying to find someone better. But a woman even if a man does everything he can for her if she thinks she's better than him she will not be satisfied and content with the relationship she will always feel like she's missing out on something. So I think as a guy it's important to try and do as well as you can and find a woman that's excited about being with you. Don't chase after women who don't want you. Unless you have some kind of kink for suffering. They will never like you, no matter how long you run after them. If they thought you were worth it they would be trying to be with you but they're not. They're tolerating you and taking everything you're giving them attention, validation, money, entertainment, love, whatever you're doing they will take it but they will never start having feelings for you just because you're pursuing them.

Anonymous(25-29)+1 yAll I know is to never love a woman more than she does.
Not because women don’t deserve it, It’s because nature.
Men get soft when they love a woman, which in return makes him look less confident and upfront.
when a man has sex with a woman he loves, he becomes afraid to take complete charge because he doesn’t want to hurt her feelings both sexually and communication wise.
women naturally don’t like it when men get soft.
That doesn’t mean they want abuse men.
Inexperienced women usually go for abusive men because they think they can change them.
either way, Don’t be abusive and don’t go for a woman you love.

2.7K opinions shared on Relationships topic. Meh. A man will most likely always want the physical more than the woman… it’s simply how our primal wires are set up (sorry fembots who think we’re all supposed to be Annie Oakley…). Guys are visual… which also typically makes them good hunters… everything about a guy (down to their fun bits) screams that external stimulus is what makes them go.
Women are all about the internalized… so even if we technically feel or want something more intensely, it’s never as obvious.
So who wants it “first,” “most” or “longest” might have to stay in question to be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, but “most obvious” the guys get the vote….20 Reply

Ah, the age-old question of who should be more enamored in a relationship! I'm here to sprinkle a bit of my relationship zest on this. In the dance of love, it's not about who wants it the most but how beautifully both partners move to the rhythm together. Imagine two people, lost in each other's eyes, matching step for step, neither leading nor following too far behind. It's a give and take, a tango of hearts. So, I'd say false; it's not about one person wanting it the most, but both partners equally invested in keeping the flame alive. After all, love is a two-way street, paved with mutual admiration, respect, and, yes, a whole lot of desire! 😉

@Apple1996 how do you figure?

@Apple1996. No way. Once she has him wrapped around her finger she will start to abuse him.
- +1 y
@KrakenAttackin more like the opposite. If he doesn't love more then he will abuse and use her
- +1 y
@KrakenAttackin I've never seen a relationship work out unless he loved more

@Apple1996. That's funny because my observations are exactly the opposite.

I don’t get why the man must love her more, what I worry about y’all girls and women is that if you get bored even if you are in a good relationship while dudes are emailing her or DM’ing her, I question a woman’s loyalty nowadays. If she ain’t loyal or she’s being all wishy washy with her talk, no guy should pursue, it seems like she just wants fuck boys around her but then down the road she’ll hate herself, her decisions of pursuing fuck boys, then she’ll assume all guys and men are fuck boys because of her mistakes, I rarely see girls or women take accountability and say you know dude I’m sorry I take accountability, woman have inflated egos to, at least with me I will try to meet someone half way unless their ideologies are extremely distorted. Like if a feminist gets mad at me about “male patriarchy” and I tell her I don’t care about that, and she gets mad at me to support feminism and that men should all be eradicated, why would I support feminism or her? And yes this has happened personally on numerous occasions online. Love should go both ways but people make it complex. If two people are decent/good looking, have the same goals, religious views and political views for the most part, why should it be some tug of war game of who loves the other more?

@marish01 Yes.
+1 yNah, not really. If the man wants a woman more than she wants him, he's done for. Our sole strength in today's society is rational thinking, as our advantage of physical strength was nullified by law (unless one is fine with living on the run). It's only after the woman is clearly head over heels for a man that he can start acting on any feelings or instincts.
10 ReplyFALSE. That would depend on the Godly blessings of said man and I've seen perfect 11's chase the few dudes blessed with every stinking thing. And no crying because 99.9999% of the both of them are so full of themselves that marriage to themselves is the best way to go.

+1 yNo, a woman has to want him more than he wants her. Women are under so much sexual pressure from social media, dating sites, etc al; she can find a new swinging dick in 10 minutes. This is also a huge reason men don't commit to women anymore as most women don't take relationships very seriously.

+1 yFalse. You should both love each other equally. No one should love more than the other. If so that's an unhealthy relationship. Anyone who says otherwise is either a narcissist or masochist.

02 Reply- +1 y
@Jemini_Crocket and what’s stopping the woman from straying?
- +1 y
@JHAYES317 The chances of straying for the woman are actually lower even though women might have getting laid easier because for women it's mostly emotional while for men it's a physical thing. Men claim they love their woman while sleeping with other women. If a woman cheats, the relationship is usually done for.
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yAs soon as most women know a man wants her or loves her more than she does him, the manipulation starts and she twists the knife. There's always one who loves more so it seems, and I'd rather it be her if it isn't equal.

@JHAYES317 I’d say that’s a fair point for a woman who doesn’t actually love her man, or is using him. But in a general sense, I do feel like it’s important for men to love women more. Too often most men (absolutely not all) don’t appreciate a woman loving them in excess. Those men prefer the thrill of the chase, and once they have a woman showing them more love, attention, affection, and effort than them, it’s as if they get bored or something. I don’t know. With my fiancé, I know he loves me more and it’s not something I take advantage of. I actually think it helps our relationship flow how it does, where we both want to do equal work. We both want to spoil each other, push one another in our goals, be a team. It’s not mainly me.
- +1 y
Perspective is everything, my friend. I get the impression you feel like loving your girlfriend/wife more is degrading, as if it puts you in a lower or desperate position, but I don’t think that’s the case at all. When I think of my fiancé loving me more, it’s not a power trip, but knowing he will always be consistent and match my pace. I’ve experienced the other road, and there’s a lot of hurt for women in those positions. Of course you can only speak for yourself and what this topic means for you, but when I think of my experiences, it was the men who loved me less that were inconsistent, lost interest, had a wandering eye, things like that. I would feel differently if I had a different experience, for sure.
- +1 y
You aren’t wrong, someone can absolutely do that, but this is why I feel that is a specific type of woman. She probably didn’t love the guy much in the first place in order to cheat, and also selfish. Some of us really don’t care to do that though, like if I ever wanted someone else I’d just be single so I’m I’m free and so is my fiancé. However not everyone thinks that way.
- +1 y
My advice? Be wary of those women you’re busting your ass for with no mutual effort. Because they are out there and will take advantage. Dating is rough but all you can do is use your best judgement in the beginning and leave it alone as soon as the red flags start to fly. You will notice when she’s not really trying but you are traveling both lengths of a two way road.
