there was this guy who was interested in me but I brushed him off cause he didn’t seem like my type and i was kinda pining after this other guy. I talked to him a bit more and he’s actually really sweet and I’m semi sorta kinda interested in him now. My one issue is he’s not very academically bright and that’s something I never thought I’d compromise for in a boyfriend because being smart is something I value and I’ve always been attracted guys who very intelligent in a math/science type fields subjects. Should I still give him a chance?

And what are you? Some PhD student?
I’m a very studious wanna learn type person and I work really hard for my gardens and such. I don’t judge people off their academic but I always tend to prefer scholarly guys who share that same inclination to learning.
TLDR: I don’t like explaining things to guys and I like feeling like the guy I like is really smart and can explain things to me
grades* sorry for all the stuff😭
Well as long as you're not gonna be his mom, knowing everything better than him... I mean you can't expect a man to know everything better than you do.
I mean I don’t expect that like I said I usually go for stem type smart guys they don’t have to be a genius just smarter than me in some academic stuff because I like it :)
Well of course you like it XD you're a woman. That's normal. But like maybe it's better to look for a partner rather than for a daddy who just tells you everything. Men typically go for girls who are academically lower than them. That's just normal i guess. I don't know if it's optional for long term relationship and happiness to.
Yes you should
