Should I say something when ghosted online?

So sick of online dating. I was just talking to a guy for a week online all day. He would respond decently fast. Like every hr or so. He seemed like a legit good/normal guy. We talked about how messed up people are on the app, how excited we are to meet and how we both seem like great people etc.

He asked to do something this weekend but we hadn’t picked a day. I messaged him during our convo this morn asking which day because I need to see if I can get a sitter. Now radio silence. Like I just think that’s completely rude. Should I say something? Why can’t people just say they’re busy or some other excuse instead of just leaving people hanging? So completely disrespectful.

a lot of men get really scared when things get more real. They dont prepare emotionally and than it hits them and then they freak and distance themselves. Its actually quite common... just try not to expect too much, doesn't mean he didn't mean what he said, but its best to leave him be, they usually come back and if he does dont lash out but try to get him to meet and be more aloof... u may say u thought he was ghosting and that is not acceptable to you but you are willing to give him another chance if he wants to meet (and dont chat no mroe with him, meet or nothing)

Also ghosting is just the nature of online dating, if anything you now know how about 80% of men feel on a daily basis.

Yes it’s not just men being ghosted. Have dealt with it a lot and just sick of it. To me it’s okay if they just stop responding but if you asked me on a date and then just disappear I think you owe someone a message. Just sick of people being so disrespectful to eachother.

I have been ghosted after dates and I have always made sure to say something. Just feel like it’s the easy way out for people who do that and it’s not right.

I agree. A bit of manors would be nice these days. Ironically social media has made us antisocial. At least in my opinion. To be frank it couldn't hurt to ask if something came up and see about rescheduling. If he doesn't respond then maybe he wasn't as nice as he seemed.

Yea I mean if he needed to reschedule I would have though he would just say so. Seems he’s taking the easy way out and ghosting.
