Sadly, in almost every culture, women dating outside of their race has always been an issue but not the other way around. I think it is due to the fact that men carry the last name so regardless of who they marry, it won’t affect anything.

It's the good old intersection of prejudice. If you're a black man and you date a white woman, you're "moving up", but you deserve it because you're a man and you're putting in the work. If you're a black woman dating a white man, you're "moving up", but likely using your evil feminine wiles to trick him into liking a woman of lesser quality.
