The more active and engaging you are, the more likely you are to connect with like-minded people and form connections from all over the world. You should not go anonymous unless absolutely necessary or people would not know who you are you will not be able to meet new people. Since this is a global site, there are people from all over the world, so distance might also pose a problem. I do know a few couples who met here on GaG and are now either in long term relationships or married though. So, while it is not impossible, it is very unlikely and not feasible.
