I was on my first date with my coworker, and I mentioned that I occasionally smoke. I then told her that I was considering a serious relationship and asked if there's anything she disliked about me and she said "I think u're great but I'm not really into guys who smoke." To which I said "I only occasionally smoke, like if my girlfriend doesn't like it I'll stop that too."

No clear communication is good. I’m not sure I would ask a date if there was anything she disliked about me though. I feel like it comes across as less confident.
