What do you think about this situation with a girl?

There is a girl I like and her friends kept telling me she likes me too for months. Her friends always pushed me to do something and were like matchmakers. I asked her out she said yes. It took a while before we went and meanwhile we kissed. Then one day her friends started telling me that maybe I should give up on her, she’s complicated, they’re confused of her and she doesn’t what she wants. So i asked her if she really wants to go out and she said yes. I dont know what to think. She was also behaving a bit distant that day or just wasn’t spending that much time with me as usually. I am really confused now so what do you think?
