What are your thoughts on how I should handle this awkward situation with this girl?

We met on a dating app almost a year and a half ago. We met one time last September.. I used to work in NYC, and she used to live there, but now I am remote in Central NJ and she lives in Connecticut for now, so that's a bit of distance. Anyway, we talk almost every week on video for an hour or two. I was under the impression that okay, we're friends, but no doors are closed... recently mentioned the idea of taking a trip, forget how it came up, but kind of naturally came up, and she as open to it... and she said her dad is skilled at finding flights or whatever and other deals, etc. so I jokingly asked what he thinks if she travels with male friends, and she says he thinks they have ulterior motives (again, we joke a lot, so all in that sort of tone), and I was like "Well, I don't have ulterior motives, but not closing any doors" and she said that she is closing those doors.

And I was really shocked, because I thought yes, we're friends, but keeping any possibilities open. This was the understanding I believed we had come to before. So I don't know, my feelings are kind of hurt. I don't have the sort of strong interest I used to have, but I certainly didn't want to eliminate the possibility that we could be something more than friends. I don't really know how to handle this now. One vacation possibility I had found was Greece, and uh, Santorini is one of the most romantic places in the world, sooo yeah... we're going to go there with ZERO possibility of anything happening? Come on... Sheesh.
