Fuck yes. In my experience every time if the dad's a dick to the boy, he's also a dick to his daughter. He just pretend its "because he cares about her" "wants to protect her" the daughters always hate those dads too. If my sisters hadn't been a fucking robot and a lesbian I bet our dad would've given their partners trouble and they would've hated him too. As is he just gives the one shit for not having kids yet, and gives me shit for not bringing the kid over or letting them visit ever. Dads who threaten or harass people their daughters care about are just rude and dicks in general.

yes I would but would also be reasonable and calm and respect her autonomy as her own being who makes her own choices. id meet them and give them a chance. if i think i need to intimidate them, i may, but i will still show them respect. if there a bad guy ill talk to her, but not control her.
