I firmly disagree. Most men don't realize just how big of a deal it is when a woman decides that a man isn't an option. Men just like to focus on how few men there are that women see as viable options. It's an understandable misconception but it's still a big one.

Like, obviously, not finding a man appealing means she doesn't want to sleep with him, but men don't realize that female attraction is about more than finding him appealing. Women become physically repulsed by the idea of being intimate with men they don't find attractive. As men, you and I can look at most women and imagine a world where we could have children with her; women do NOT think that way. Most women look at most men, and experience physical nausea at the thought of having the men inside them.

So this idea that women are free to get passed around at their leisure gives an incomplete picture. It's possible that a woman could do that if she wanted, but it's really not an acceptable arrangement for most women.

If the relationship doesn't work out then yes the other person will go on to be with someone else later. They're no longer in the relationship with you. So yeah I guess in that sense if the relationship doesn't workout then it in a way was like your turn but now it's someone else's chance.

Yes, if you break up or she's not a faithful partner. Otherwise, if we love you and we treat each other well, I see no reason for being replaced.

I agree with "she's not yours." You don't own your partner and she doesn't own you. Not now, not if you get married, not ever.

I disagree with the sentiment that "it's just your turn." If you enter a relationship wth the expectation that it will not last, your belief will probably become a self-fulfilling prophecy.
