What's the right way to get to know a girl?

I feel like 99% of the time, if I'm talking to a girl and ask if she'd like to get coffee or a drink sometime, she'll give me her number but ghost me. I don't expect every girl to like me, but I also don't know if there's a better way to try and date instead of just asking someone out? I just don't know if things work differently now.

Honestly I think that’s the go to strategy. Just take it in lumps.
