Being that you're 24, your concern SHOULD be either mutual interests short & long term and the male's maturity/life experiences rather than mere chronological age difference.

ALL relationships have a durational arc... if NOT long term, enjoy the experience's journey but recognize at SOME phase, one of you is opting out and for the other, there WILL be a profound sense of loss proportional to their emotional investment.
