He doesn't open my snapchats right away, but his score keeps going up? What should I do?

I have been seeing this guy for like 5 months. We communicate through snapchat and sometimes he takes an hour or two to reply (max 4 hours). I started noticing that his snapchat score goes sometimes up (but not a lot) and at that time he doesn't open my snap. We still don't have the yellow heart, only the smiley face. I don't know if I am being paranoid or overreacting but does this mean he is cheating and snapping other girls? He rarely sends me photos only chats.
