First of all, you're a great sister. You both are young, but you gotta give him the truth. He will get over it, believe me.
Don't tell him what he wants to hear, give him a dose of reality. Tell him that if he isn't careful, it's gonna happen again. Tell him that he should learn to vet his partners better, and that he should jump in a relationship when he just got out of one. Tell him to not share too much info right away, and to not be as vulnerable as he was. Tell him to be not get upset over spoiled milk, and to learn that the world doesn't end after a break up. Tell him that not everyone has good intentions, and some women have their trauma and it causes them to hurt other people they get in relationships with. Tell him to not use his own trauma to hurt other women who had nothing to do with it. And finally, tell him that the world is a cold place and that whether he likes or or not, only he has to get himself out of sorrow and make the best out of his situation because nobody else would do it for him.
This is certainly what I would've told my brother or sister if they were cheated on. He has to take it like a champ, and learn to roll with the punches. At the end of the day, he has to learn that what doesn't kill someone, it makes them stronger 💪🏿
All the best for your bro 👊🏿

Maybe doing a ginger bread house or baking a heavily decorated cake, some take over 3 hours to make. You guys could also experiment with a complicated recipe that will keep you guys in the kitchen for 8-9 hours, than throw a party with his friends to eat up the food.
I think you are handling right.
Make him laugh. Remind him life goes on.
And he can still be happy and have a good time without her

Do whatever makes him happy to clear his head be that a movie, a gaming session or a sporting event
My first break up was at 16, ended up huffing nail varnish so keep an eye in him because I had no-one
(Luckily my next girlfriend got me to quit but I'd been doing it multiple times a day for months by that point)
Pain aside it should also be a relief on some level to see a persons true colors sooner than later. Now he can find someone who respects him.
He's probably too young to be a jaded "There are four billion women out there" guy like I am, but maybe help him find a new girlfriend.
it takes time. But if he keeps busy that helps you not think about it. Maybe go to a movie together.
Pray for him so he will feel better
Take him paintballing or shooting or throwing axes.
It's better to have found out, than who know what else, or how long she was doing behind his back. It sucks, but keep moving on. No point of dwelling on dumb bit#h. He needs to do things that make him happy to forget faster.
Maybe a few pieces of new clothes will help. A night out at a baseball game. Anyway, it’s best for him to find out now and move on.
Hook him up with one of your friends' little sisters.
I mean, assuming he's decent and will treat her well.
get him laid. sound gross, but it works. might take a few times.
Tell him to get used to cheating women and this was a good lesson.
Yeah beat the bitch up who broke his heart. Wish someone would beat the fucking shit out if demi she fucking deserves it
@PrettyPriya thoughts from the more rational?
This will be my last of the night. I think you are doing the right thing by taking his mind off of the situation. That is all one can really do. You cannot control when he thinks about it. Keeping him busy is the best thing.
Problem is that to heal that wound (especially at a young age and likely first serious relationship) the only thing that works is time. Remind him that SHE cheated and no one wants to be with a cheater. He needs to understand that it is a GOOD thing they are not together. It isn’t a good thing he was cheated on. But, best to end it now, as hard as it is.
Think of the things he likes to do and do it with him. Maybe he is into gaming. Have him teach you how to play his fave game, even if you aren’t into it. Laugh about it. Have fun with it. Maybe he likes a sport. That is another thing. Make him feel good about showing YOU how to do stuff and show HIM you are having fun.
Siblings are meant to annoy each other. That is what we were put on this earth for. We were also meant to be there in times of need, that shoulder to cry on. That is what you are doing now and it is the 100% right thing you are doing.
Life sucks and then you die. Get used to it
Get one of ur friends to go out with him
