To most short guys (under 6') : No, not in the slightest. To tall guys (like 6'2" and up) : They want short girls the most. Like 5'6" and under. They see things as "tall equals more masculine and small equals more feminine." To me personally (I'm short) : Yes, I strongly prefer a tall girl. I honestly don't want to date a girl 5'6" and under because then we'd be part of "a short couple" and that annoys me to no end. Like "she's just the best you could do and you're both just settling for each other."  I wouldn't say no to a short girl just for being short, but I also wouldn't try very hard to impress her or treat her on an equal level either, cause I know I'd just be settling and feeling bad that we don't really like her; I just can't get someone more compatible cause I'm not tall enough. There'd also be my own height insecurity present the whole time. And short girls are the most entitled for tall men, anyway.  As with a tall girl (5'9" and up), it actually feels like I  earned  her and that she chose to 'downgrade' to a man under six feet because I'm just that desirable.  That  feels like true love to me. If I was actually 6'2" or something, however; I don't think it'd matter much to me. But no one is going to give me those three extra inches, now are they? So no, being in a short couple bothers me, but it doesn't have much to do with the girl.

It never did to me. I wouldn't have been attracted to a dwarf but I liked short girls and tall girls. I'm 6'2" so I never had any insecurity about height so I would have been up for dating 6'6" girls as long as she had a nice face and figure.

What matters most is the heart. Men have preferences the same as anyone else. Much like some women care about height and others not so much.

Some guys like shorter. Some like tall. Some like around their height. While others don’t care at all.

It’s like hair color. Eye color. It depends on the guy what exactly they like

it rarely ever matters to a guy but when it does matter, it's usually for some other reason i. e. not wanting to get dirty looks from public who then call the cops or knowing the possibly of rejection due to their own height.

Sadly it is a logistics problem. And that's usually with her been too small. Bending over to kiss is not practical.

Her height has never mattered to me. I’m in the average height range for a guy at 5’11” and I have dated women from from short to tall, but most shorter than me mostly because there are more women that are shorter.

No I Believe women are the one's who usually care. I once tried going out with a woman slightly taller than me and she's the one who felt uncomfortable not me. I don't really care about the woman's height.

Personally, I would say yes. It is a sad answer actually and I am not proud to be saying it but I don't want to date someone who is much taller than me and I am actually quite short
