Going down that path is simply painting yourself into a corner. Why would you want to get mixed up in that? What kinda life would that be if you got married and had kids? Are you just guna sit in the bedroom while his/her parents play with your kids? The relationship with your partners parents is critical. But I suppose, if you like dealing with drama, then it's right up your alley.

I might, if they treated me well. But I would not socialize with their parents. If they couldn't understand why, then I would drop them.

My boyfriend's parents treat me pretty badly and I'm still dating him. It's tough, but it's worth it. I'm really hoping things get better in the future though
