Go on craigslist or hellolanding or rotatingroom (there’s a lot of site) and find another place to live. People often split rent with roommates, so instead of paying full-price, you’ll only pay a portion of the rent. So if it’s usually $1,500, you’d only pay $500 if you had two roommates.

do you have family then? you could also sign up for the military, which provides housing, or perhaps teach English overseas as they oftentimes provide housing.
