Why am I feeling this?

I remember that I once looked at a guy for a couple of seconds before looking away. The next time I saw him, he was staring at me from afar, so I looked back and we locked eyes for like 30-35 seconds straight, and it felt so powerful like I was in some trance. It's something quite difficult moving on from or thinking past.

Either way, you can wait and see if he'll come up to talk to you eventually. Or if you really want to see what's going on, you should go talk to him.
Having eye contact for so long implies there's some sort of mutual feeling, or he was just staring back because u were staring and he didn't want to break the eye contact.

I don't know I just want an understanding of it, like why I was feeling this way. Also even if he was staring because I was staring, why should he go on without breaking it for that long which is clearly beyond the normal staring time?

Just to see how long u'd stare back prob best thing to do is yo approach him i think, to either become friends or to know the reason behind the long staring and move on. (Ur feeling this way cuz its not everyday u hold 30sec eye contact with another person)

We try to avoid too much eye contact even with people we know. When you look at someone that long, especially a stranger, it seems like it must be because there's some sort of mutual comfort in doing so. It implies something significant.

I don't engage in casual relationships for sex just and I have no interest in doing so. I have however dated other guys but as I said u just haven't experienced this particular thing, just chill
