Him wanting to wait is neither good nor bad, its just that he isn't ready! It’s like asking if you are ready for cake, but the cake isn't finished baking yet, is that a good or bad thing? It’s neither, it will be ready when it’s ready. And when it IS ready you can eat cake. Until then just be patient, the world (nor the cake, or your boyfriend) does not revolve around you.
UPDATE: While we women are most certainly the gatekeepers to sex, guys are the gatekeepers of relationships and especially marriage! So If we just “give it up TOO quickly” the guy will not have enough time to bond with us, and obviously won’t want to take that step into committed relationship, and certainly not marriage! Making him wait is not a “mind game” it is just a mix of behavioral psychology and evolutionary biology, while guys are happy yo fu*k slutty women, they don’t want to marry a slutty woman, and they damned sure do not want a slut bearing their children, and raising their daughters!
I suppose I would see it as a good sign that he’s able to speak up for himself and set healthy boundaries. But as for whether it’s a good or bad sign that he’s wanting to wait, i don’t view it as either. If he was ready straight away I wouldn’t view him as “easy”, and if he wasn’t ready I wouldn’t view him as a “prude”. We are all ready in our times and shouldn’t pressure a partner into having sex.
That's a great sign. Heck first two guys I was dating would've gladly had sex with me the first day without trying to get to know me as a person. At the least the current guy I'm dating wanted to actually know me before getting physical. I see it as a sign of respect, that he's willing to find out who I am first.
I would see it as a good sign. It would make me think that he was truly interested in me. Not only in having sex with me.
I see it as a good sign but depends on how long he wants to wait, I wouldn't wait till marriage or something.
And no this has never happened to me before
I'd probably feel disappointed especially if I was horny at the moment.
However, if he chose to abstain because of valued principles, he'll likely earn more respect & admiration from me.
Depends. Wait as in for marriage? That's a hard pass. I'm very less likely to get married, meaning I'd never fuck him. Wait as in he's not ready? That's totally valid.
Good sign, absolutely the best freaking sign ever. Means he truly loves me for me al
Men with standard will always be superior to easy men.
I would be disappointed, but respect his decision
I'm saving myself for marriage.
