Do you find someone who has desperation for you bad or good?

I find it a good thing. I view it as a strong desire for me.

If they aren't desperate for me, I find that a red flag.

This is rather new thinking for me but as I look back at my experiences I find it to be sound.

I find it really bad, actually a deal breaker. It puts a lot of pressure and expectation on me, responsibilities for how they feel and for how I become the center of their world, who can easily turn them happy or sad in a second, and who might have a lot of problems in saying a "no" for once. It's a very demanding situation.
I complimented my current partner for not being clingy, not being needy, minding his business, keeping his friendships intact the same without denying them any of the time he was dedicating them before. This is how I can have a relationship, the opposite puts me off quickly, I feel overwhelmed, stressed and crave my spaces like the air, until the breakup comes.
It went this way many times for me in my past, now I perfectly know that's something I must avoid, and that I'm primarly allergic to.
I really don't need to see desperation to trust my partner's feelings, like, at all... Big room between being desperate and being completely uninterested.
If you can endure a desperate partner, though, well, that's fine then, you got to know what you want (as long as you make sure to stop making them feel desperate and reciprocate them a lot).
I could never and I wouldn't deal with that anymore even if I was paid, though...

I agree with you. We think more alike than you realize. My question only gives an abstract view of into my mind. Not to mention the connotations that come with the word desperation. But yes I agree boundaries are needed. I'd loved to say more but it would take to long and I don't feel like typing it. About to go eat. Good day to you though.
