I think most people are just looking to have fun on these websites but I actually met a guy who was not eager to hook up and instead became friends with me. He sends me memes and said he liked our meeting. Does this usually happen?

I did not have your experience on the dating apps. I did have your experience and actual dates when i left the dating apps. I used www.meetup.com and met 100s of Single people. I play outdoor and under the light soccer as well as indoor. 8 matches a week to choose from at different locations. Social, political, and religious clubs and other hobbies.
