What do you think of giving up on dating in early 20s?

I am getting sick of this. I was single for three years and i was happy. Then I met a girl and i fell for her. She was into me aswell. Things were looking really good but then she just chose someone else. I am tired of trying to get over this and all this. I am sick of all that guessing in dating, doing shit to be with her and it all comes to nothing. Heartbreak only. I think i’ll just be better off single and hang out with my buddies. They are real. What do you think on giving up on dating completely?
