Is it weird if I date someone who looks like my ex?

So I recently met this guy, and my first thought was how attractive I found him. And then my second thought was weird he looks exactly like my ex which is also my kids dad. And he seemed really interested in me but I don't know how it would go if we dated and he eventually saw my kids dad would he think I only dated him for his resemblance? I know people would talk about it too. Opinions?
