Men stereotypically are attracted to women in their late teens/ early 20s. Would a 26 year old also be a stereotypically attractive age?
1.4K opinions shared on Dating topic. I would say maybe the types of men you are trying to date are stereotypically that way... but I disagree that most men are that way. You probably should take some time to do some self-reflection on yourself and try to become the best version of yourself possible. And then start making some changes and considering different types of men, that would be more compatible with you.

However, her past matters. Did she have casual sex? Does she have kids from someone else? Those kinds of things still matter regardless of her age.

+1 yI read in a Medical Textbook once that said that a woman's prime is between 21 to 34.
So that puts twenty six, VERY RIPE, for not only fertility, but she also has the MATURITY (hopefully) to handle a good, stable relationship, get married and or have children. It's just nature!

Obviously, every year girls grow older but so do men. If a guy is 22, he will think 26 is too old and will be more attracted to someone younger. However, a 26 year old woman may be very appealing to men in their 30s.

30 Reply 16.6K opinions shared on Dating topic. Yes absolutely. More so really, since she’s more mature and more comfortable with her body.
10 Reply4.5K opinions shared on Dating topic. As long as you still can bear children, your value won't be seen as decreasing. After 30 though it does. Your childbearing years are drawing to a close (probably completely done at around 40), and most people want kids. My girlfriend's dating pool was slimmer when we started dating. She was 32, but since I didn't want children and she didn't either, we were able to take it slow and form a good connection before deciding to commit (we're unofficially engaged because I won't get my parents blessing if I proposed now, but I will once I am gainfully employed). We have a friend who's in her 40s and not married yet (nor does she have any kids). She's mad because she doesn't have a husband, and although she's given up on kids, it's hard to find a guy who's willing to marry someone when kids are not going to happen, and it's not really a personal choice anymore.

@TenderFantasy make sure you use black man sperm, it will help in the race problem.
+1 yDepends on the 26 year old. That’s not “old” at all. No wrinkles or fine lines yet. Her metabolism rate should still be high
Anyway yes it’s true that most women often peak out with their physical attractiveness in their late teen and early 20s.
10 ReplyNot really, no. Not in my opinion. Women peak in beauty at like 22-23, and 26 for a white woman already looks like 31 on anyone else. But I doubt most men would turn down a 26 year old woman; she's still young. 20 to 29 is the prime age men go after women. 30 to 34 is not good, and 35+ is pretty much "her menopause age" to many men.

+1 yExactly what you said stereotypically. There are a lot of other sterotypes that we also know aren't true. If you gave any man a chance to pick a mate for the rest of his life based only on her age vs someone he could see a picture of age would be a low percentage pick. Even a description of personality and appearance would be a higher percentage pick than age. Attraction has more to do with symmetry than time passed since birth

@suzzieQ what neuroscientists actually have found is the brain continues to regenerate and grow until around age 25. At that point, the brain starts to deteriorate. So on the flip side of your "brain isn't developed" argument is the fact that people over the age of 25 are having increasing issues with cognition and memory loss due to their brains deteriorating.
- +1 y
It's the same as with the fertility thing. Humans (male and female both) have periods of their life. In the beginning they are learning and growing. After that comes reproductive years. After that, they are basically falling apart, but they continue to nurture and teach the younger generation (s), and live out their lives. In the very end part, they are really falling apart at an increasing rate until they die.

@zeitgeist057 Lol have you ever heard of the term neuroplasticity? Also, where did you hear that misinformation about your brain deteriorating at 25? ! Lol. I had great memory at that age and even till now but probably it has been going down because of stress, trauma, illness, many other things just like a lot of older people, they usually forget or have brain fog because of those three things (and more) that I have mentioned!
- +1 y
@TenderFantasy it's not "misinformation", it's the same information as "the human brain isn't even fully developed until about 25", just worded differently as I illustrated: humans grow/develop, then deteriorate. Just like most other organisms on this planet. You had a great memory at that age (25) because that is more or less when human brains are at their peak (best).
Yes, I am familiar with neuroplasticity, and that is a good point and a way that human physiology adapts to slow the effects of aging, so yes, our brains aren't complete mush by the time we are 50, but that doesn't change the fact that the cells themselves are deteriorating and diminishing. They may become more flexible (for a while) to compensate for being fewer in number and slower in performance than younger cells.

@Tracker1958 You're 64 and you dont see any issues having sex with a 9-year-old? The left certainly does not say it is okay. No saine person does. Don't confuse education with encouragement. Giving students to tools to protect themselves, so that they can make informed, educated decisions about their own bodies is a good thing, because men like you have taken advantage of ignorance and misinformation for way too long. It is better for a child to receive accurate information that gives them the tools they need to protect themselves, then to learn it from porn or from a sexual predator...
- +1 y
- +1 y
@Tracker1958 You mean pedophile? Yes I have heard the term, and both the right and left reject that terminology in favor of the correct term which is pedophile. Yet you are the one stating, "old enough to bleed she old enough to breed." and "got to get them young." and that "A woman value goes down for every year older she gets."... that is predatory and manipulative language, not to mention sexist, misogynistic, and patriarchal. I cannot fathom why a man who has such blatant distain for his wife and who thinks of her as all but worthless would be married at all to begin with...
- +1 y
Just read where a mother drowed her 8 months old baby because the baby was crying. We need mass sterilization.
- +1 y
@Tracker1958 Then you would be appalled to hear about the two Tennessee men accused of raping a 9-month-old girl and filming the attack, or a 38-year-old man from Texas has been sentenced to four consecutive life sentences for repeatedly raping a 3-month-old relative and filming it. Or the seventeen men have appeared in court charged with repeatedly raping a 12-year-old girl over the course of seven months... but as you so eloquently stated "old enough to bleed she old enough to breed."...
- +1 y
@suzzieQ arguing with this guy is low hanging fruit. There's a reason his MHO is 2%: 98% of people recognize trolling and wacko logic like spouting pedophilic propaganda, then saying it's his political opponents that are the true pedophiles. Like calling people the N word then in the next breath accusing everyone else of being racist. This generation are the ones who promoted all that rape and misogyny, and are upset now that other demographics want rights and to live without fear of being raped.
- +1 y
@zeitgeist057 Yes, it is. However, issues like him need to be addressed. Part of the reason things are the way they are now is because people dont say anything. They ignore it, turn a blind eye, and sweep it under the rug. Imagine how much better things would be if people pulled together and actually took a stand to actually call out and address the problem...
- +1 y
@zeitgeist057 It's cool you did all that work, but I truly believe that 1. Not all scientific articles/Medical articles online are accurate! Sometimes they have an agenda they like to fill for some weird reason! Influencing people in one way or another! 2. The reason why people under 25 have "brains that aren't fully developed" is because they usually LACK LIFE EXPERIENCE, more so thant it being a purely biological thing like I said earlier! Anyway..

@suzzieQ what I seem to want is a girl be a virgins until her find a man to marry. Whatever her age is, preferably around 19 or 20. A woman to a man is her parity, not her body count. Women are free to sleep with as many as they want to but men are free to put those women in the JUST FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY categories. Women care about a man money and a man cares about a woman pass sex history. She can lie and we expect she is lying just by the girlfriends she has, the way she dresses, her social media. You make your choice and men will make our choice accordingly.
- +1 y
@suzzieQ just concerned about the down fall of humanity. But it's fun to watch it go down the toilet like a turd. The lower you women go, the more fun it is to watch. It used to be that I would risk my life to save a woman but now I would just stand back and make a video for tictok. I no longer give two cents for any of you.

@TenderFantasy I definitely agree life experience counts for a lot in terms of developing a person’s resilience, personality, wisdom, and intelligence. But most of the time when people are pulling out the “brains aren’t developed until 25” they are citing the biological data.
I also agree about internet and science sources, they can vary in the information, which is why I like to take a broad approach and read various sources, to get a better big picture. Even the age “25” isn’t a precise number, I was just going with it as what was originally commented. Individuals vary, and studies vary, from early 20s to 30+.
But in regards to the original conversation about younger people being “easier to manipulate” and having undeveloped brains, the point I was trying to make is that it’s not like older people are perfect or necessarily have more cognitive power. I’ve seen children manipulate their parents or others without consciously making an intelligent scheme to do so. I don’t believe dating a younger person automatically creates a power imbalance in favor of the older person. I’ve also seen plenty of relationships where the younger person is the one with all the power and control.
Personally, I seek out relationships with equanimity, and I think that is totally achievable regardless if there’s an age gap. It’s about the individuals involved, and their intentions and chemistry together.
+1 yDepends on how well she takes care of herself once that metabolism starts slowing down
if she was sleeping around, drinking , gorging herself and doing drugs in her early 20s it’ll show
if she was drinking only water, eating a balanced diet, taking vitamins, exercising, and practicing celibacy she will have been married by 26 ( unless she is a total bitch )

Lol, you're talking as if looks and chronological age are the only factors that make for a successful marriage and family life. ... I hope you're not forgetting about financial stability! ... Lifestyle compatibility, etc!
- +1 y
@TenderFantasy that’s not as important as taking care of yourself build a life with someone and the money will come later and compatibility doesn’t matter if you duck and run when things get hard
( which they will )
Most boomers will tell you they had very little money when they got married
Looks are very important because males are visual creatures we pick based upon your looks don’t see why this is such hard concept for women today to grasp?
3.2K opinions shared on Dating topic. A lot of men do do that but the woman's right behind him doing the same thing for me it has nothing to do with age it is who they are and what they're all about on the inside

There are many 26yo virgins (by choice), and women who never been in a rs (again by choice, because she's looking for the right person).
While there are also 18 years olds and 22 years olds with a LOT of baggage and toxicity.
Your argument is nonsensical and stupid. - +1 y
@Nefertity112 they say that 25 percent of men are still virgins and about 50 percent of the others hasn't had sex in over a year. You ladies are F ing all the same men. Why would those men change anything? You women are fighting over the same men.
