Every time I meet someone the first thing they like to ask me is if I have any kids why is that?

I personally have a vasectomy and don't wanna date someone who has kids. I love kids, but don't want my own. I travel 6 months of the year to exotic fun places, I don't wanna trade that in for daddy day care etc. To each their own, for some people it's a dream, for me eventually maybe we will just get a dog.
