I picked the last option. I'd be inclined toward the first person I guess but the poor conversationalist is going to be a turn off so unless there's something else to spark then it's not going anywhere. A girl who is the life of the party also warrants a second side eye look: can she turn it off and have chill moments? Can I get a word in edgewise.

I'd prefer that doesn't pretend to be something she is not. It's perfectly fine if it takes her a while to gain her confidence. I am the same.
