Why do I seem to be more attractive to guys on the autistic spectrum?

I'm attracted to more guys with autism spectrum disorders. Some of the guys from my college that were my ex boyfriend were on the autism spectrum and he did cheat on me. Maybe I just got unlucky with the men that I picked. It doesn't matter where I find guys on the autism spectrum. There is nothing wrong with men on austism spectrum.

I have experience with autism in the past. Im textkng a new guy that I've matched with on Facebook dating. He said he had Aspergers and texted on Messenger. What you is a good thing that I am attracted to men on any spectrum?

I don't know if I can give you much insight into WHY you seem to be attracted to guys on the autism spectrum. My only guess might be that you enjoy people who 'think a bit differently'.

I certainly agree that there is nothing wrong with men on the autism spectrum. So I would just chalk-it-up to these guys fitting in with whatever 'type' of guy you're attracted to. (most people have a type).

Now, the other thing is: these guys might very well all have something in common that you're attracted to... that ISN"T directly related to them being on the autism spectrum. For example, maybe all of these guys were particularly thoughtful and kind-hearted. Maybe it's the thoughtful kind-hearted nature of these guys that you're attracted to. And it doesn't really have anything to do with them being on the spectrum. (e. g. If you met a thoughtful, kind-hearted guy who WASN'T on the spectrum... you'd find him equally attractive). I am not at all sure. Just throwing out the possibility.

I wish I could give you more insight. But the point is: There's nothing wrong with being attracted to guys on the spectrum. I don't know if it really matters WHY you're attracted to this type in particular. As long as it's working for you... then you're all good. 🙂

Why are you attracted to autistic guys? Well, they're honest, very loyal, upfront about their desires and beliefs (no childish guessing games), extremely passionate about their interests and glad to expound upon them at length (and I do mean at length), and don't care a whit about status; there's a lot to like there. If mean in a purely physical sense, well, that I have less knowledge of, but it would stand to reason that similar cognitive development would cause some similar effects.

If you're wondering why you're attractI've to autistic guys, as your title says, I don't know- but now I'm wondering if there are patterns THERE, too. Given how much the condition effects, it could well be that there are traits that autists find attractive; I may have to look into that.

Some of my previous experiences are a relationship. Some guys did cheat and did have a learning disability. I don't like going to the club. Did get a lot of attention from high school and college from guys that I went to special learning disability college. Some girls did use my trust to get close and temp guys try and cheat on me. They were successful.

Well, I’m autistic and I can tell you, 90% of men not only find me attractive, they love how I am. I say what I think, I’m honest, witty, humble, intellectual, I remember everything and ask a lot of questions. If I had a penny for the amount of times I’m told ‘you’re so different to anyone I’ve met’!
Of course back in the day I didn’t know why!
I have had an undiagnosed autistic partner before I knew I was, and he was accepting, interested in what I had to say, very funny, clever, kind, honest, capable of any job/repair, attentive, quirky, would do anything for anyone and more.

Either that or you're so shallow that you don't really care if they have Mental Issues as long as he has blue eyes and look like Robert Pattison! or whatever popular star/influencer is nowdays! Justin Beiber? ! Tom Cruise? ? !

I was friends with someone with Austim/Aspergers. They are smart people but they can be quite shallow and selfish. Your choice to suffer over those types of guys! If you think they are worth it!

And having Aspergers/Austim doesn't make them more SPECIAL than the rest of the male population in my view! I'm just saying.

I can't really choose who I can date. Not all autism people are going to have metal issues. Just very big assume.

No, I can't really choose who I can date. I can only date men with learning disabilities or I will never date ever. It made a dating rule for by my mum. So I can't choose.

i dunno but most guys i bond with and date are on the spectrum and i think thats bc im just good at listening and not judging any of all the stuff they think about, say or obsess over and they do the same for me

Maybe their voice? My voice sounds so weird when I listen to myself being recorded. Or maybe their smile? Many people tell me to stop smiling when I’m not smiling or when I am smiling, that my face looks fugly.

Not the same thing, but a lot of autistic people have liked me and have really wanted to be friends with me in the past, and ngl, they make the best friends from my experience
