To men that like petite women, why do you find average height and tall women inadequate?

For me, female height goes like this:

5'3" and under: Very Short
5'4" to 5'6": Short
5'7" to 5'8": Medium/Regular
5'9": Kinda Tall
5'10" to 6'0": Legit Tall
6'1" and up: Super-tall (for a woman)

I prefer Tall to Super-tall girls, because I'm short for a guy (would be "Legit Tall" as a woman) and I loathe the smallness/weakness more than anything else in life. Short girls, in my experience, tend to be meaner and more picky, while tall girls tend to be nicer and slightly less picky. (Both still want men over six feet, though.) So tall women, are what I'm drawn to the most, besides also wanting to counterbalance my own manlet-ness.

But you at 5'9"/175 cm, shouldn't have ANY problems! If you're under six feet, you're still in the female zone of height. I told you, other tall women on GAG also have no issues, as well.

So your premise that "men that like petite and mediocre women, find tall women to be inadequate" is a total strawman! Like I said, you probably just refuse to date men under six feet, or you're extremely reluctant to, leaving only the 6'1" and up tall men, who tend to gravitate towards women 5'6" and under the most.

In other words: Stop going after super-tall men and complaining "all men hate slightly-tallish women who are five-foot-nine!"

I don't have an issue with anyone's height. Most people I've dated have been closer to my height. Height isn't something I'll ever make an issue about. But its just that my preference would be toward shorter women

Guys say they don't care about height but literally emphasize how much they like being Mr. Big Man to pixie fairy women. Honestly, for tall girls its better to look for extremely tall guys. Guys that are 6'0 - 6'3/6'4 act very insecure with tall women and have this need of telling people how much better women immensely shorter than them are. I haven't even heard this as much from short guys either, so they might be better in that sense.

great question. i’ve been rejected because of my height but men never talk about that. they’ll go on and on about how women are so mean and evil for wanting to date tall men but reject taller than average women. that’s why i fail to care about the whining men do regarding height.

For me the size I prefer the most is 5' to 5' 4". Second most would be 5' 5" to 5' 8". Third most is 4' 9" to 4' 11". Fourth most is 5' 9" to 5' 10".

I like ALL of those heights, I just like them different amounts. For the tall women though in the 5' 8" to 5' 10" range, she needs to have an athletic build and toned, not just regular and not just skinny either.

Maybe if you're 6ft and over it can be tough to find a guy to date but Im not buying that a man is rejecting a woman for being 5'6-5'9. This seems like the reverse of men saying they've been rejected for being too short when they are 5'7-5'10. Its pretty cringe. The men probably having trouble are like 5'5 and below.

They are sort of pixie like which has it's appeal. Women are far more serious about height reqs than guys are. I know one guy who has had a series of petite women. He claims they all picked him rather than vice versa.

Yeah that makes sense, petite literally means small compared to regular size. If you go to the supermarket, petite sized carrots are smaller than regular size. For women, a petite woman is smaller and shorter than other women. It depends on region, but as far the USA goes, petite would refer to women under 5'4 and even moreso women 5'1 and under being the "genuine" range as they are smaller than most women noticeably. So in this instance if a man likes petite women, he literally does not like average height and taller women as they do not qualify. 5'4 women are borderline petite, but I don't believe any women 5'5+ would qualify as petite.
