Should I trust him/give him a chance?

This guy I’m talking to is super sweet and makes me feel special. The only thing is he takes FOREVER to reply to messages. Sometimes up to 8 hours. But when he does reply, he always says sweet things that makes it hard for me to be mad or ignore him. He does say he’s super busy but I don't know if I can trust him for that. Should I drop him and move on or keep talking to him?
