Are we friends? Do you think he's interested?

This guy and I have been talking for almost two months. When I say that, I mean that we’ve had consistent conversations every day for the entirety of knowing each other (and they’re not just like surface level convos). We’ve hung out a couple times, he agreed to come to a pretty big social event with me, made an effort to get to know my friends, and we have slept together. He once had to leave when we were together because of an emergency and kissed me goodbye which definitely caught me off guard. We haven’t had any “what are we conversations” but we’re both also on break from college so now live at a distance from one another. Should I just hold on till we get back from break? Would he be entertaining this if he truly wasn’t interested? I know there’s no way to know, but what would you think from my perspective?

Would also like to add he hasn’t like hinted to just hooking at all. Like never a “come over hang out tonight” type of thing.

It's ashamed that some ground floor could not have been established prior to leaving given he's going to see his "high school" Ex. The return vibe and opinion would have been interested and a character realer. I would wait at this point with minimal contact and SM.

Right now it's too soon to know. Guys don't get too caught up in their feelings this soon. From his view point, you're a cool person to hang out with and he's had sex with you. I don' t think you can get a true gauge at this point.
