Is his friend interested in me?

So there’s this guy I stopped talking to because he ended it, and he has a few close friends. There’s this one friend in particular that we always just stare at each other. When we stare at each other it last for seconds. Its like I’m looking into him. The world is like on paused. It’s weird to say but I feel some sort of energy or connection when we stare at each other. There was this one time when he just completely stopped what he was doing and just stared at me. Like we just looked at each other. There was this other time when I saw him far from the distance and he turned around out of nowhere and we just looked at each other. One time he was outside and kept looking up at me while I was walking up the stairs through the see-through glass. I know he’s friends with the guy I use to talk to but I can’t help feel this deep energy or intense connection when we look at each other it’s weird. The guy I use to talk to is transferring so maybe his friend will make a move.
