Expiration dates on food are there to inform you of ideal taste through that time. It has nothing to do with what's unhealthy. If there's something wrong with the food, it will taste or smell bad, so don't gamble if you've lost your senses of taste and smell. I've eaten many things well beyond their expiration date, and I've never had any bad results.

Anything, Joghurt, Tofu, Cheese, Bread, ... nothing happend, its still good, sometimes weeks or even months after the best before date.

Just look wether or not its moldy, or smells weird. In these cases better throw it away.

Pretty much everything. As long as I can cook, fry or bake it, nothing will happen.

I do that with canned foods that have a best used by date stamped on the can.
