Do you like when someone you’re dating texts you normal pictures of things he finds day to day when they aren’t with you?

I see a lot of things in the city where i work and like to take pictures. If you were dating someone like this wold you like or dislike it if he kept sending you odd or interesting pictures of things they see?

some examples:

Old style arcade

Christmas lighting at this venue

Interesting hallway of ivy plants on route to the restroom in this restaurant

So yeah random stuff like these lol

Honestly it raises some curiosity and I’d hope he’d give some back-story, or say what he thought. That way the commentary gives some context. 💭

If he and I were dating, I’d be more interested in him☝️, but the items he saw would be interesting too 👐

My husband was a photographer. When we were dating, he always had a camera handy and clicked away nearly everyday. When he switched to a smartphone, he took more & more photos of just about anything & everything that captivated him. I liked it when he shared his captured images with me. Through those images, I was learning even more about him, particularly the subjects that were interesting enough to him.

I do this all the time, I love it... I take pictures/video of myself and send to him doing normal things, like filling up gas at the gas station.

I also do voice recordings, rather than just texting to send, if nothing worth while to record or take pictures of.

If a woman did that, and I was already dating her, yes, I'm sure I'd love it. There was this girl I told some joke about - I can't remember what it was. I made fun of something. Kept the joke going a little bit.

She texted me one time to say she was at Claire's (maybe Forever 21 or something like that) and she saw something and started laughing because of the joke, and she thought of me. The fact that she actually texted me, that she said something reminded her of me (in a good way) and made her laugh out loud... I had a crush, but wow, that was awesome. I mean, I don't get compliments very often.

I am that kind of guy. Even as platonic friends, I will take pictures of guy friend's dream cars if I see one and share. I had a girl friend who was in the salon business - and I texted her a picture of a random business that happened to have her name - "_________'s salon." I would assume I'd do that sort of thing with a girlfriend if something reminded me of her. I don't know if she'd be annoyed by it or not, because some of it runs hot and cold on whether girls like it or not.

I would think if she always had a fit over some little text here and there, the relationship probably wouldn't last long. It'd be too much "stepping on eggshells" when I was just trying to say something nice or give a little "hello." I don't overdo them.

When dating someone you are in that early stage of figuring each other out. Soo much is open to interpretation, and this is where you could run into problems if you are not sure or don't know them well enough to ensure they are interpreted the way you intend them to be interpreted. Wich to me sounds like you want to let them know you are thinking about them and wanting to share a part of your day.
