I think it’s wrong and cowardly when people do this. They’re too scared to tell someone how they really feel.

If I block someone or ignore them. They done something to really piss me off or are chronic boundary offenders

I'd ask were you two communicating on a even level or were you taking advantage of his kindness. Guys typically don't ghost unless it's an reaction to something.

Ad no I'm not gonna sit back and say ghosting is good or okay. I'm simply pointing out that ghosting is often a reaction. And not causeation, with the exception being he already moved on.

Nothing because I don’t know the context on why he chose to do that. Ghosting is never a good form of communication but some people find it easier to ghost.

Depends if the guy asked her out was talking to him and she ghosted him/ flat out rejected him, then what he did is basically self respecting himself, if she was talking to him regularly but could never commit to him or date him, then they weren’t on the same page simple.
