Absolutely wrong. If those people lack respect and will just cruelly abandon and cut off their partners like that then they're honestly not worth it. No decent person would do something like this. You're mentally and emotionally torturing someone if you do this. This doesn't just apply to romantic relationships. This applies to friendships and familial relationships too.
