Is there anything women want from men that doesn't involve money, submissiveness, or servitude?

Are there any heterosexual women out there that want a man without him being a simp (spending all his money on her), acquiescing to her every stupid demand and order, or being her obedient house/sex slave?

Cause that's all I ever see on GAG with female dating and relationship questions; basically seems like women just want men to be complete slaves to them. At last going by this site.

I'm just curious what kind of answers I'll get from this question.

That’s a very big generalization. You can’t base an opinion on all women based on a few posts online. If I were going to judge all men based on comments and posts I see on here I’d have a rather negative opinion on men in general.

Based on some of the posts and comments I see on here I might be led to believe that all men are angry incel types who need to touch grass. But I know that’s not true because I don’t base my opinion of men on a few shitty posters on some website.

When I think of a “simp” I think of one of those “nice guy” types who expects something in return for acting like they’re a decent person. So no, I wouldn’t want a “simp”.

I don’t expect my boyfriend to spend all his money on me and I don’t care that he’s not rich. He works hard. He has his shit together. As someone who works hard myself I can respect that. That’s good enough for me.

I didn’t need or want a servant either. I have a boyfriend that’s my friend. He’s my partner, he’s definitely not obedient to me and he doesn’t expect me to be obedient to him.

It also depends the culture and environment they were raised in.

It is good for you that you know what you like. But also train yourself to be firm, assertive, and independent.

My family has men as you mentioned. They are just always sorted, always know what should be done and all. Their wives are really lucky in that sense. The respect they give to their wives is just amazing. Quite something to learn there for both genders.

Respectfully, I think you’re contradicting yourself. A partnership and submission can’t really coexist. If you see yourself as an equal partner, then you have equal say in the relationship, which rules out submission. I’m assuming you’d exercise your perceived equality, right? If so, then you are not in a place of submission. Submission by nature requires one to be the leader, and one to be the follower. That is different from a partnership where both have a say.

A relationship can be viewed in a minor way to a much lesser extent than marriage as a business. Marriage to a much greater extent. Married couples must tend to the affairs of running a household, with all that entails and building a life together.

Time must be spent on chores and projects, money must be earned and spent. Resources must be acquired and managed. That’s not to reduce marriage to nothing more than a business, but many of the same decisions an business must make must also be made in marriage. Who will do what and when I. e. division or responsibilities. Decisions on what money is spent on and when must be made.

With that in mind, to what extent in either a relationship or marriage would you be willing to and/or enjoy submitting? All the time? None of it? Depending on circumstances? To what extent would you expect your partner to honor your desires and your opinions on how such matters are handled? Always? Never?

The affairs of life for those who are married or in relationships and for those who are single are fairly similar to running a business. Your life is a business and you are in the business of yourself via decision making. Also like a business, unless you’ve taken a vow of poverty you seek to make money and acquire resources. This is common to all people.

All that said, I’m sure you have at least some perceived right to have a say in such affairs when in a relationship or marriage right? To what extent would you exercise that perceived right? Would you almost always follow your man’s lead, Or circumstantially stand on your desires and opinions on such matters?

Of course you could say you like being submissive, even if you’re not willing to be submissive 100% of the time. So my point here is to what degree are you willing to be submissive? I sure for you it does depend on the situation, but I have to believe that the answer would not be 100% of the time, nor would it be in all matters but the most detrimental.
