To another question I just wrote that I did not think male mate selection criteria has changed in 20,000 years because that is about when we we started living in settled communities growing crops.

I think it has always come down to
* Comely enough that we want to fuck'er.
* She is genuinely nice
* She is co-operative and will work with us
