Did you always have that "Spark" with previous or current partners?

I'm curious if the Spark is needed for a long term love ❤️ union. Did you have the spark prior to failing in love or was it the slow burn or friends first?

I had that spark only with my first ex! Definitely the reason why it kept going on, even tho it was more a on off relationship but the passion was there lol

With my last ex I didn't had the spark but chemistry and friends of friends and strangers would see that chemistry in the beginning but honestly he killed it during the relationship, I see it now looking back

Anyways I think sprak isn't necessary but chemistry and attraction definitely is.. at least in my eyes

I still had chemistry with the first but the spark was there from the first moment we saw each other

For me its been both, the initial chemical reaction of love, lasts for several months but always fades... turns into long term attachment, which some say is another form of love.

There have also been those that I haven't felt much for but it simmered and then burst into full on major love spark and then after awhile it too faded.

No one can feel the chemical reaction of new love forever, it always fades.

Well with my ex I never felt the spark, we were just really good friends. Tbh I wasn't even attracted to him but in time I got a bit attracted and felt some love for him but it was never a deep romantic love it was like best friend love. We were married for 10 years and together for 12
