Have you ever been accused of being jealous of someone else when you're not?

I've had people accuse me of being jealous of another girl, when I'm not. For instance, me and my coworker don't get along. I told someone from outside work, and they accused me of being "jealous" when I just don't like her. Does it annoy you when people insist you're jealous when you aren't?

I've had that happen. It's super annoying. I have very specific reasons for disliking the people I don't like and I can cite specifically what those reasons are. It's strange and kind of patronizing to me when people interpret that as me being jealous of the person when I can say exactly what the problem actually is.

If someone lies a lot and I don't like them because they lie a lot, there's nothing for me to be jealous about with the person. I just don't like them because they lie a lot.

Yeah. You don't need to pull out a crystal ball and divine my intentions and feelings using spirits from the ether; I don't like the person for the reason I said. There's no reason to make things complicated.

Keep it professional and you already know that you aren't jealous then you are fine. Don't over say that you don't like her if you do. I have some people I don't like but I keep short and don't chat with them unless it's work related. Stay strong ⚘
