One hundred percent. Those people believe that they can’t possibly be the problem, so then they think of some other explanation that allows them to continue believing what they believe. (e. g. They are absolutely irresistible no straight man would ever reject them.) It’s protecting their ego by resorting to outlandish explanations that don’t even make sense anymore.
