I've never had a good "first date," but I can tell you what an ideal one would be for me-

Us going to the gym together, or going on a nice hike/walk somewhere, with a picnic lunch afterwards.

Or if it's someone I knew beforehand and we're now dating, something as simple as us watching an anime or playing a video game together with a pizza is definitely an fun yet awesome first date!

Depends what you both enjoy doing but for me it's doing something active.
I'm not a fan of sitting and just talking because you have to keep thinking about what to ask next and the conversation might not flow that well.
When you are doing some activity, not only you have a good time together but you may actually get to know the person a little better and get closer quicker

A nice dinner, go see a movie, pretty much anything you both decide. As long as it'll be a best first date to remember and get you a second date then eventually start a relationship❤️😊
