One would assume that your question would be of highest priority in the thinking of a woman who is marrying that man. At the very least, each partner seeking like values and moral individuals demonstrates an importance of morals and values.

This man will be providing, husband, father, and representative of the Family. Congruence on basic moral and value worldview within religion, politics, and etc is paramount for success.
