What are the best food and drinks to pack for a romantic picnic?

Off the top of my head would be juice and soda.
I don't really like my food on the floor/grass to be honest, so I prefer picnic tables with a Barbeque grill on the side and a BIG TENT! That's more my thing. Plus, it would have water bottles in a cooler, a frisbee game session (a few actually), a VOLLEY BALL net on the grass. Maybe bring my doggy there as well.
I like corn on the cob on foil. I also like Skewers. But generally, HOTDOGS are a good picnic choice as well.
And if people are willing to bring pizza, then yes! Tacos too, just anything they like really. The last actual picnic I had were two in 2019. One from a family work picnic that was potluck, and the other when my grandmother passed and there was a picnic held for her that year.
Wow you have thought this out. Have you done this before?
And sorry about your grandmother. Have you had any romantic picnics?
It's fine thanks. It's life and she lived to almost 96 anyway, so she had a good life.
And I have only been on ONE picnic (that I know of) with my ex. It wasn't that good lol. He an ex anyway haha. He was good at picking fights. He was that unstable.
Anyway, thanks for the positive reaction emoji.
Thanks for the comments.
I believe strawberries are romantic and festive snacks are entertaining so a beef chub with wine and crackers would be cool. You don’t want to over eat cause too much food will draw attention away from the date. Cultural foods are also good, because it brings out your cultural and family beauty so I think some beans flavoured in your family spices would be nice. I think salty food is good because it leads to higher satisfaction and appreciation.
The romantic picnic basket is defined by its Foods and Utensils. Time tested foods are paramount, however, Nourishment requires proper chosen attire and utensils be in picnic basket.
Perhaps, the rubber purple glow-light up monster key chain thing, miniature scales of time ⏳that I bought with you, picture/pamphlet of next week Plan, tickets whether past/present, etc. properly scattered about
A summer sausage or chicken wings, a couple of nice cheeses, a baguette, some fresh fruit (grapes, sliced apples and pears, melon, or whatever, and some good wine (I prefer red, but I'd check her preference). And something chocolate for dessert.

Foods to share with each other are very romantic. Fruits, cookies, chocolates. A nice bottle of wine to drink.
Wine, cheese, grapes, strawberries, some crusty bread.. keep it light and simple😊
Nothing smelly or that causes gas.
But if you guys love a certain type of food, go for it... I eat every few hours... I wouldn't mind something heavier, I don't only want snacks... but for snacks it can be Grapes, wine, chocolate , sandwich or crackers
Balanced meals and food pairing can help prevent gas though, even certain supplements so feel free
I like boneless chicken strips
Muffins, cookies, maybe sandwiches and some crackers or berries and fruits. I'd probably bring fufú and some empanadas or pastelitos along with some pineapple soda or lemonade (alcohol would probably go better for a date but I can't).
First thing that comes to mind for me is strawberry jam. But it's hard to think of anything else because you wouldn't want it to go bad or get too warm.
Actually, I've got a good idea. Sets of different pinwheels.
Pin wheels are good
They're just like a sandwich except with tortilla or pita. But I do like tomato & hummus ones.
Home made stuff tbh. I usually do sandwiches or a quiche and then some fresh fruit and a favourite drink each. You could do some wine f where you are going allows it and you also like it lol
Relish Tray, No broccoli, or calciferous veggies, it will turn into tuba practice too soon. Small sandwiches (no mayo due to spoilage), wine, dried fruits. My wife says "Planters Punch"
tacos de canasta... yes...
literally, a basket... and they do get even better on the way there, lmfao...
Strawberries with whipcream and a bowl of sugar. Really just all kinds of fruits. Lol i just won't really eat big in front of a guy. Thats just me.
And Sprite... its some thangs i like to do with sprite
Egg salad sandwiches can make that cute little mark on the corner of the mouth.
Fried chicken done crispy.
"Delicious" apples
Bananas
Korbel Extra Dry Champagne (bring real glasses)
Arum rolled sandwitches to fill the gut and provide stamina. Minelli's apple cider cause it looks like Moet but is also a powerfull laxative, necessitating a quick return home. After blowing up the toilet together while holding hands, what better way to end it than with some gentle cunnilingus and slow, easy lovemaking in the hot tub (or on the lawn).
Mini quiche Lorraine’s, little meatballs, mini party pies and sausage rolls, chocolate covered strawberries. Or else cold roasted meats and salads.
Homemade food is always a good choice, and nice wine
I like fruits, nuts, cheese and homemade biscuits yummy 😋
Vodka and lemonade
mix it just right and it’ll sneak up on her before you know it
traditionally, you pack wine and cheese and anything else you feel like having.
Tea party sandwiches. Charcuterie board. Sangria.
Champagne and oysters
Good one
The oysters might go bbq ad if its a hot day. Ever smelled seafood when its gone bad... dry heaves forever and if you think about it it'll make you dry heave again
Finger food. And wine. Lol!
What kind of finger food. Back in the 50's they would pack Fried Chicken, potato salad, wine and some cookies for dessert.
I’ve heard of that. I’ve also heard of cheese sausage and crackers, sandwiches. Simply cheese and berries or apples. I mean My mom loves picnics and she even used to do a chicken salad and some apples or oranges for a picnic when I was younger.
Yeah I say keep it light as possible.
Right! Light and easy! I honestly can’t imagine trying to make something to crazy and then trying to lug it out for a picnic. Like the old style picnics were always this amazing fried chicken dinner that would make your mouth water for days. Like that girl deserves a whole lot of sex and pampering after all that work!!
If you wanna keep it light go for lunchables... lol
Onions, garlic, cucumbers, pasta, beans and soda.
Nice sandwiches on big bakery rolls and craft beer.
Just bring Burger King they hold up real fresh lol
Summer Shandy to go with salami sandwiches.
Burping salami on a date tho lol
@DizzyDesii I like the taste, so no complaints
