Amazing guy but bad kisser?

I met an amazing person, there was chemistry and I wanted to pursue something with him. Few dates go by, and it finally happened - we kissed! But it's bad. Our styles just don't match; he opens his mouth too much and uses his tounge too much. And he is too fast, there is no slow passion, if you know what I mean. I tried navigating it my way but he was more dominant. We kissed for around 3 minutes before I went inside my building. Needless to say, the chemistry I felt until that moment was gone. I just did not enjoy kissing him. Should I talk to him about it and try fixing it? I'm just worried about this chemistry now being gone, I'm not looking foreward to our next kiss.
