I think it happens a lot in financial independent women's case or rich stewards. But if I were a girl I would be weary of male gold diggers.

My chances of marriage diminished with this girl because of following reason co-founded;

1. She was older than me so culturally my parents refused to consider her.

2. Her parents were rich as mine but my parents told me no, you can't have her. Her parents will think I am after her parents money. I know my parents were gaslighting me but I don't know what to think of it.

I empathized with her since she got her engagement broken 💔 as the guy was a cheat. He was using her for money while she was madly in love with him.

Tragic really, I feel awkward about the whole thing but she is someone I did marry. She is beautiful for me and sweet))

Yes, but it may not work. In Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer, a rich girl was picked by the poor guy and was okay with the fact he wasn't rich. Their relationship failed, but his income wasn't a factor in her attraction. She knew it was a 50-50 chance that he was the rich one from the start. Knowing what rich Missourians are like (me being one), I could see Steven was rich even without knowing he was, he acts exactly as a rich Missourian would.

They might date or marry one but the chance of divorce is high. My cousin's cousin made around $70,000 a year and he married a surgeon and they divorced very quickly. I also know rich girls that marry poor guys and get dumped and cheated on by the poor guy. It happened to Martha Stewart.

Yeah I've been the poor guy I suppose the fact I can speak in monied talk and rub shoulders with millionaires helps my case (in fact I made them good money in the past)
